Junk Kouture Success

Last night Tom Watte and Olivia Flanagan's Junk Kouture entry 'Amberle' strutted the stage at the 3Arena as the Western Wildcard entry at this year’s Junk Kouture Final.

After weeks of canvassing online and getting the support of the entire school and local community, it all boiled down to last night’s performance.

The competition was incredibly tough but the students of DCC cheered the loudest as Olivia took to the stage as the silver warrior Amberle.

As the results were being read, the tension in the arena was palpable, particularly as the result of the Most Enterprising result was being announced. This is the category that our team had set their sights on as it was an indication of all the hard work and community support received throughout the process.

As ‘Amberle’ was announced as the winner, the DCC contingent were joyous, cheering Tom and Olivia as the model took to the stage once more to receive her prize.

The college are incredibly proud of their achievement and we especially want to thank the entire school and local community for fulfilling the hopes of dreams of Tom and Olivia.

Pictures of the event to follow.

Below are some pictures of our supporters enjoying all that was on offer at the 3Arena yesterday evening and the video showing the Wildcard announcement.
