Agricultural Science Trip

Fifth Year Agricultural Science students attended their first Dairy field trip on the farm of Jim Harlin Kilmessan. Jim kindly took time out from his busy working day to host the farm walk. This experience is invaluable for students, allowing them to experience in practical the theory of dairying which they have learned in class. It also provides them with material for inclusion in project work - worth 25% of their final grade. We were blessed with beautiful weather and a thoroughly enjoyable morning was had by all! Roll on summer!
